3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Reimer96 (594) - Alberta, CANADA - DEC 29, 2012
Pours a clear amber color with a small white ring. Aroma of sweet toasted marries otter or golden promise malts and honey. Taste is sweet malts, cereal, some faint honey & floral/grassy taste with a smooth mild bitterness on the finish. Again another great session beer from Yukon that is exactly as it’s billed.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 patricks110 (1215) - Alberta, CANADA - JUL 9, 2012
A fantastic little session brew. The pour is a bright golden hay coloured body with a thick foamy off white head. The head dies almost instantly. The nose has a bit of sweetness with a light toasted malt and a hint of citrus. The flavor is quite light and bland overall, but a great session flavor.
3.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 Narnad (1342) - Wonder Lake, Illinois, USA - JUL 2, 2012
Pours a nice amber color with lots of carbonation and low, dense off white head. Aroma has a lot of Marris Otter malt toasted character, an odd sweetness that is a bit reminiscent of a berry tea. Flavor is pretty unique as it starts off tasting what the bag of fresh malt smells like. The sweetness is slowly transitioned too from the great malt kick early on. It’s very floral as a whole but has a distinct berry-like flavor. One of the unique characteristics with this brew is as the floral/berry flavor recedes, the Maris Otter toastedness reemerges to finish the brew. Body is modest in density with mild amounts of carbonation and a slightly oily feeling. Overall a really well done beer. The toasted and sweetness found in this brew work masterfully together. A unique flavor I will remember for quite some time.

341ml bottle pours a golden color with a finger of off-white head that settles quite quickly and leaves almost no lacing. Aroma is mild cereal grains and piney hops. Taste is light malty sweetness with a modest hoppy bitterness. Nothing special going on in this one, cannot even detect any honey.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 asheft (2264) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 2, 2012
[bottle]
Aroma of some caramel with gentle US hops and a little diacetyl. Almost clear yellow-copper with a lacy white ring on top. Slightly fruity flavour with some caraway and green apple. Very low bitterness doesn’t quite balance a medium sweetness. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation, slightly sweet finish.
