COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ten years ago, the first brewery in the Yukon since Prohibition opened. The first beer out of the door was Discovery Ale, a honey pale ale brewed with fireweed honey. Yukon Brewing Company had arrived. To celebrate our first decade it seems only right that we re-discover Discovery Ale.

Thanks to Reimer for this. Pours brownish gold with a small white top. Aroma is sweet honey with earthy malts. Taste is clean, well made but doesn’t really offer much.

Flora aroma with a nice sweet malty taste. A touch of honey and just the right amount of hops.

341ml bottle from the Yukon "Thirst Aid" mixer. Pours a bubbly golden with a foamy white head that dissipates pretty quickly. Aroma is mild toasted malt, hints of floral, spicy honey. Noble grassy ho presence is significant, giving the bitter character, but the breadiness of the malt and the sweetness from the honey is what makes this beer. Well balanced, medium bodied ale that is easy to drink. Cheers.

341ml brown bottle. Dark golden brown, thin white cap with good staying power, bit of sticky lacing. Nose is sweet and honeyish. Some sweet malt and honey with grain. Dryish end, bit of malt. Regular mouthfeel and carb. Ok beer, nothing special.

Pours a pretty Amber with white head. Herbal and raisin aromas with floral honey notes too. Great honey flavours. Herbal and soapy notes too. Sweet, bitter and delicious.

Pours a clear light copper colour with a fairly small white ring around the glass with a few spots. Aromas of honey and toasted malts. Flavours consist of toasted malt, malty sweetness, honey, light bitterness on the finish.

Pours a clear amber color with a small white ring. Aroma of sweet toasted marries otter or golden promise malts and honey. Taste is sweet malts, cereal, some faint honey & floral/grassy taste with a smooth mild bitterness on the finish. Again another great session beer from Yukon that is exactly as it’s billed.
