The lighter beer of our two offerings, this ale was designed to be an almost "non-ale". It is golden in colour, brilliantly clear, and clean across the palate. The mix of 4 malts still provides subtle character in the body, and the addition of malted wheat provides a slight, but characteristic citrusy finish. Hopped with noble Saaz and Golding, the bitter is barely perceptible, but mild hop flavours linger in the after-taste; the dry, clean finish provides a refreshing perk at the back of the palate. The full package mimics the classic milds of the British Isles, with a bit of Yukon spirit, just to make sure you remember what part of the world you're in!

650 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a clear golden colour with modest white head. Aroma is bread, sweet caramel and a little fruitiness. Flavour is also quite bready, with some earthiness, light caramel and a little sweet fruit. Carbonation on the lighter side. Perfectly drinkable but nothing memorable.

From a 650ml bottle. Pours a big foamy beige head and dissipates to a thin coating. Has a pale golden appearance, quite clear. Average carbonation. Aromas of bready and caramel malts. Flavours are mostly light malts, notes of toasty malts, resin hops and tiny bit of caramel. Fairly light bodied mouthfeel with a thin and slightly oily texture. Faint bitterness in the finish. Not bad just nothing too extraordinary.

Written "English Pale Ale" in small on top of front label ?? Pours a clean golden-amber colour with an off-white head, decent retention and a little lace. Malty nose with some hay notes and mild grass. The taste is also on the grainy malt side with again the grassy hops. Both of these are not really well balanced. Something off. Do I taste corn as well ? Not really an English Pale Ale. Not one I would try again.

Pours a golden honey, with a pillowy whit head. Aroma includes notes of fruits, caramel, and light malts. Tasting notes include apple, pear, caramel, and some toasted malts. Decent palate, and a clean finish. Not bad.

Head fizzles out in record time. Nice aroma but there is something strange about the taste. Almost burns. Lightly carbonated but a solid mouthfeel. Just wish I'd know where the burning comes from.

650 mL bottle. A little more copper than gold. Crystal clear, with just a thick film of white head. Malty, toasty, a touch nutty in the nose. The aroma is fairly mild, and neutral in terms of appeal. Not much going on in terms of taste. Harmless and inoffensive, but I don’t need 650 mL of it.

Can thanks to Shig. Pours gold white head. Nose/taste of wheat, very dry yeasty bread, metallic notes and herbs. Lighter medium body.

After being selected to be a driver for the Klondike road relay race, I made my way to Giorgio’s and had this on tap in a pint glass. Though dead tired, here’s my take on this. The appearance was a semi-clear golden yellow color with a nice transparency seen and letting a brisk carbonation to be seen rising. Bar pour yielded no head. The smell was a light sweet corn maltiness and a slight quick semi-sting of bitter citrus hops. The taste was mildly sweet corn and the hops tend to disappear. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a decent sessionability about it. The carbonation seemed good for the style and for me. There’s a nice smooth sweet corn aftertaste that led to a sweet dry finish. Overall, good blonde ale by a new company to me. I’m willing to try more.
