COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hearty northern people love a hearty stout beer. We’ve teamed up wtih Yukon’s famous Midnight Sun Coffee Roaster to create this special blend. Originally developed for "Bean Queen" Zola Dore in a small batch kettle system by Yukoner Mitt Stehelin, we’ve retained the artisan qualities of this unique, unfiltered brew. The robust taste of this hearty stout starts with the smooth glide of real espresso and finishes with a dry chocolatey malt flavour. Why the big bottle? You’ll love it so much, you’ll want to share it with a friend, or not!

I would live in the Yukon just because of this beer. Pour black with a very small tan head. Aroma is of big coffee and roasted barley. Tastes of coffee, dark chocolate, and roasted barley. Has a medium body with low carbonation. I found it kind of dry, but smooth as well with a great espresso aftertaste. Perfect for dessert.

9am wake up call on Cascades 501 from Tacoma to Portland Union, thanks to Ferris for the Province tick, 08/11/14. Black with a dirty tan covering. Nose is big coffee grinds, roast malt, spice, dark toffee, cocoa nibs. Taste comprises earthy roast, black pepper, nice coffee presence, cappucino. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, roasty coffee close. Decent coffee lead stout.

Pours dark enough to blot out the sun. Leaves very little head or lacing. Tastes of espresso, dark chocolate, roasted nuts and dark fruits. A classic brew.

Wowie! A new brewery, a new province/territory and a damn fine beer all in one? Rare as, mate! From the get go after one whiff, I knew I was in for a good time. A huge and hearty blast of rich smelling, smooth dark roast coffee mingles with chocolate, vanilla, roasted malts, smoke and burnt toffee. The blackest liquid rests beneath a thin tan head that laces lusciously. Once you get this beast in your yap you realize you get to taste everything you just smelled and the oily, full body and mildly warming booze will keep you powered through a Winter cruel.

Definitely for coffee lovers, it takes the roasted goodness of your typical stout to the extreme, for a very nice, smooth tasting and highly aromatic coffee stout. yum."

This was poured into a nonic. The appearance was a pure black color with a creamy to slight tan one finger head. Messy lacing stuck and then slid after a decent amount of warming. The smell had a large amount of espresso, roasty and bitter. A light sweet milk chocolate balances nicely. The taste was balanced between the roasty, the sweet and the bitter. Everything just seemed right with the flavor. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with even a slight sessionability about it. A nice roasted espresso coffee bean rolled across my tongue. Overall, a really nice espresso stout probably showing itself as Yukon’s best one.

Pitch black with a shy tanned head. Strong coffee, black chocolate, smoked nuts, candied dark fruit. Bitter taste with some nice sweetness. Medium body with a thin texture, nice carbonation.

Bottle courtesy of Solidfunk, thanks! Brown color, brown head. Aroma of cocoa and coffee. Taste has more coffee than cocoa. Not bad.
