COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hearty northern people love a hearty stout beer. Weíve teamed up wtih Yukonís famous Midnight Sun Coffee Roaster to create this special blend. Originally developed for "Bean Queen" Zola Dore in a small batch kettle system by Yukoner Mitt Stehelin, weíve retained the artisan qualities of this unique, unfiltered brew. The robust taste of this hearty stout starts with the smooth glide of real espresso and finishes with a dry chocolatey malt flavour. Why the big bottle? Youíll love it so much, youíll want to share it with a friend, or not!

Pitch black with a shy tanned head. Strong coffee, black chocolate, smoked nuts, candied dark fruit. Bitter taste with some nice sweetness. Medium body with a thin texture, nice carbonation.

Bottle courtesy of Solidfunk, thanks! Brown color, brown head. Aroma of cocoa and coffee. Taste has more coffee than cocoa. Not bad.

This is a nice way to finish my Yukon Brewery tasting. Pours like coffee with a light tan head. Nose is almost pure coffee, a hint of cocoa and caramel. The bitter coffee really dominates, and itís got a hint of staleness to it, like coffee grinds instead of coffee, but itís somehow still pleasant. Taste is bang on though. Rich coffee and chocolate, caramel, treacle, roasted nuts, some spice. A tiny bit dry but itís more bitter coffee than hops that linger.

Bottle from JulienHuxley, thanks! Almost black, strong chocolate, malt and espresso aroma. Full bodied. Malty sweet flavor with fresh coffee and berries. Very nice beer, could be a bit more refined.

Bottle thanks to Nielsen ! Pours a rich burnt umber color with two fingers of khaki gaseous foam. Nose has a nice soft mix of roasted malt, bittersweet chocolate, fresh coffee and a hint of pumpernickel bread. Palate follows with nice layers of flavors but extreme balance/ Smooth creamy mouthfeel with perfect carbonation. Just a pleasurable beer to drink, was just gonna tick it before bed but I finished this with ease !

Good mix of coffee and barley malt, not all one or the other. Cola brown, thin tan head. Coffee and soil flavor. Light body and astringent. Good intensity of flavor and aroma.
