COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hearty northern people love a hearty stout beer. We've teamed up wtih Yukon's famous Midnight Sun Coffee Roaster to create this special blend. Originally developed for "Bean Queen" Zola Dore in a small batch kettle system by Yukoner Mitt Stehelin, we've retained the artisan qualities of this unique, unfiltered brew. The robust taste of this hearty stout starts with the smooth glide of real espresso and finishes with a dry chocolatey malt flavour. Why the big bottle? You'll love it so much, you'll want to share it with a friend, or not!

A beautiful opaque black beer that pours a beige head of minuscule bubbles. The aroma of coffee creates a marvelous anticipation for the round, creamy body. The bitterness is very close to that of an espresso of medium intensity. Overall an glorious combination of my two favorite drinks, beer and coffee.

Bottle. Darkest brown with just a ring of bubbles. You can sure taste the espresso in this one. In fact, it is the one remarkable quality of this brew. Without the espresso, this is a fairly straightforward and kind of flat stout.

9/II/13 - 12Fl. Oz. bottle @ home - BB: n/a (2013-151) Thanks to Alisa for the bottle(s)!

Clear dark brown beer, creamy to aery beige brown head, unstable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots of coffee, some caramel, sour berries, cocoa powder, but mainly lots and lots of coffee. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body, creamy texture. Taste: cold coffee, cocoa powder, bit sour, bitter touch. Aftertaste: lots of dark chocolate, coffee, roasted flavours, pretty bitter. Too much coffee for my taste, but I guess most coffee stout lovers will go crazy for this one.

Pours an opaque black colour with light brown head that fades to spots but laces the glass quite well. Aroma is espresso, dark chocolate, and roasted malt. Flavour is espresso upfront, dry throughout, roasted malt, dark chocolate, mildly bitter throughout from the dark malts and espresso then a bit more bitterness on the finish.

Nearly black pour with tan head. Prevalent espresso aroma. Full body with lingering bitter finish. Black coffee and nice bitterness from the malt.

Pours a clear opaque black with a big brown head that dissipates into a ring and leaves sticky lace. Aroma of espresso, chocolate & hints of dried fruits. Taste is a nice shot of espresso with cocoa and a nice coffee bitterness on the finish. Love this beer!
