Commercial Description:
Hearty northern people love a hearty stout beer. We've teamed up wtih Yukon's famous Midnight Sun Coffee Roaster to create this special blend. Originally developed for "Bean Queen" Zola Dore in a small batch kettle system by Yukoner Mitt Stehelin, we've retained the artisan qualities of this unique, unfiltered brew. The robust taste of this hearty stout starts with the smooth glide of real espresso and finishes with a dry chocolatey malt flavour. Why the big bottle? You'll love it so much, you'll want to share it with a friend, or not!

Tried from bottle with Atlanta ratebeer crew at 5 Seasons North tasting. At first I thought I was going to try a redstone mead. Black. Dark tan head. Lots of coffee. A bit of feet in the aroma. Low roastiness, but a bit too dry for my tastes. Thin.

Pours an opaque black color with a dark brown head. Aroma is coffee, roast, chocolate, and a touch of green apple. Flavor is malty, coffee, chocolate, roast, green apple, and a malty molasses finish.

1 liter, swing-top bottle. The aroma is as if you have dropped your head into a sack of French Roast coffee beans. The smell is deep and roasty. Great coffee bean aroma. Flavor is light roasted malt, tons of French roast coffee flavor. Medium bodied. I think I’ll finish this for breakfast.

Thanks Presario. Dark black thick pour with a tan short lived head. A sweet roasted chocolate aroma. Chocolate and coffee flavors with some canned milk. Some tongue tingling hop but just a bit. The hop and coffee make for a brief bitter aftertaste. Was sorry that my bottle only held 12 ounces.

Smells strongly of coffee. Great jet black body and a frothy off white head. First taste is of stout and then a aftertaste of espresso. Will buy again if I can find it.

Dark brown to black pour. Aroma of coffee grounds, toast, caramel, and a surrounding bitterness. Tastes about the same really, with a nice nutty finish. Medium bodied palate.

Yummy Chocolate cappucino flavored aroma. Palate is fizzy and slightly bitter. Bland. Taste is chocolate and slight amount of hop presence. Better aroma than taste. 735312
