Gold Coloring with White Frothy Head. Nasty Malt Liquor Taste To it. Sweet and Grainy Taste. If Your Palate is Burdened with Nice Flavors, This One Will Squash it to Nothingness.

Pours a fizzy yellow. Aromas of grains, mild hops, with a little skunk. Flavor is crisp, and taste like it smells.

500ml bottle: poured a clear golden yellow with a small white head. Sweet malty aroma with a hint of apples. Flavor is rotten fruit, rotten apples and big alcohol for just a 5% beer. Iím shocked. Iím not sure I can stomach this.

Yellow color with a large, rocky head. Horrific aroma of skunk piss. Why oh why do people use green bottles? The taste was much cleaner and had a nice grain profile. A little watery, but if you plug your nose, itíd be okay.

I got A terrible bottle, Got very sick this night, may have been from this old beer, but doubt it, just a bad beer, on a night I got very sick. This beer was ruined from the start, and I ended up pouring it out, it was soooo bad. I really think this beer would be drinkable, fresh, in Bulgaria, but the stuff here is so uncared for, Iíll pass on this one in a second. Terrible.

Golden color with a thick head to start that diminishes some but is always present. Aroma is unfortunately quite skunky and strangely sort of sweet. Flavor is crisp and slightly sweet with a bitter finish. This is oddly not the worst thing Iíve ever had. Not recommended unless youíre a big fan of the style.

Your basic Pale Lager. On the sweet side, which was very annoying. Crappy.

Can (12 plato, BB 05/2006)
Golden color, quickly vanishing head. Malty, sweet corn and mash aroma. Metallic malty flavor, harsh and unclean. Unpleasant bulk lager.

Canned. Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Sweet caramellish malty aroma. Malt, maizen in the overall very sweet flavour. Weak hops in finish. Not that bad for being a lager...

(500 ml bottle) An imported beer in a green bottle, but itís definitely not skunky, so I figure I should just get that out of the way right away. But itís pretty typical of imported pale lagers, kind of similar to a Heineken I guess, but thatís from memory since I havenít had a Heineken in years. Grainy, mildly sweet, balanced by a relatively moderate hoppy bitterness, it actually doesnít taste too bad. Thereís a modest smokiness late in the finish that as always, I find appealing in a these light-colored lagers. I think my biggest complaint is that the bitterness in the finish gets a bit harsh after awhile. The nose is also quite grainy, a bit sweet and slightly smoky. Body is pretty light, naturally, but not watery, itís well carbonated, and despite the balancing bitterness of this beer, it doesnít seem particularly clean or crisp on the palate. Medium straw in color and fully clear so that I can see the scattered carbonation bubbles rising through the beer. The white fizzes up to half an inch, but quickly dissipates to a small ring. While it may look like the BMCs, frankly, I think this tastes way better than the mass-produced swill from this country. Not that Iíd buy this again, but itís definitely better than I expected (though I readily admit I had low expectations).
