Your basic Pale Lager. On the sweet side, which was very annoying. Crappy.

Golden color, quickly vanishing head. Malty, sweet corn and mash aroma. Metallic malty flavor, harsh and unclean. Unpleasant bulk lager.

Canned. Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Sweet caramellish malty aroma. Malt, maizen in the overall very sweet flavour. Weak hops in finish. Not that bad for being a lager...

(500 ml bottle) An imported beer in a green bottle, but itís definitely not skunky, so I figure I should just get that out of the way right away. But itís pretty typical of imported pale lagers, kind of similar to a Heineken I guess, but thatís from memory since I havenít had a Heineken in years. Grainy, mildly sweet, balanced by a relatively moderate hoppy bitterness, it actually doesnít taste too bad. Thereís a modest smokiness late in the finish that as always, I find appealing in a these light-colored lagers. I think my biggest complaint is that the bitterness in the finish gets a bit harsh after awhile. The nose is also quite grainy, a bit sweet and slightly smoky. Body is pretty light, naturally, but not watery, itís well carbonated, and despite the balancing bitterness of this beer, it doesnít seem particularly clean or crisp on the palate. Medium straw in color and fully clear so that I can see the scattered carbonation bubbles rising through the beer. The white fizzes up to half an inch, but quickly dissipates to a small ring. While it may look like the BMCs, frankly, I think this tastes way better than the mass-produced swill from this country. Not that Iíd buy this again, but itís definitely better than I expected (though I readily admit I had low expectations).

Piss yellow, very skunky with a bad aftertaste. One of the worst beers Iíve ever had.

clear and bright golden colour, fine stable head leaving a nice lacing; a shy aromatic hoppiness in the nose and a touch of paperboard; a respectable malt body and a creamy mouthfeel, a hint of bitterness before a moderate herbal finish - boring

(Bottled, BBE 06/2006) Clear, golden color with a smallish but lasting head. A basic Nothern-German-pilsener aroma with moderate, flowery hoppiness and some sweet maltiness. Quite sweet, malty and flowery flavor with hints of honey and reasonable hop content. Light to medium-bodied, sweet but not nearly cloying palate with some acidity and balanced carbonation. An easily drinkable, quite pleasant and hoppy lager, which seems very underrated here. At least itís way better than the Koff Red I just had :)

Bottle. Pale yellow with a small white head that looked good but didnít last too long. The aroma was slightly skunky, (thank you green bottle), and a slight smell of hops. The taste wasnít too bad, a little bit of hops, but certainly nothing to bring me back and have another one.

Bottle. Pale amber with a white head. Light spice aroma. Malt and some floral/nerbal qualities to the flavor. Fairly clean. Easy to drink.
