3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
One of the most surprisingly beers I’ve recently have had -- who’d think Bulgaria had good beer? Nice clean lager appearance, complete with a staying head. Sweet inviting nose is followed by a pretty good dry malty quaff, with a neat little bitter finish. Pretty good.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
very bland lager. lots of adjuncts overpower the malt element.
greenbottle and poor distribution out of bulgaria makes this very suspectible to skunking.
not worth trying exceot for the novelty value or to add bukgaria to your country list

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
A typical, very fizzy, american stardard-style beer that’s absolutely not worth trying at all. Avoid. (mine was not skunked).

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Skunk, skunk, skunk. Smells badly of the green bottle curse. Not such a bad flavor really, but I had to smell it to get it into my mouth, wich was painful. Not really worth drinking under any circumstances (unless it says Bud).

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20
Not much head. Thin and tinny flavour but the bitter finish is quite o.k.

1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
Light golden color, small to medium head. Slight hop aroma, malt overpowers. Dry finish. Not a very good beer in my opinion, I tried it because I wondered what a beer from Bulgaria might taste like.

1.1 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Light medium body, little to no nose. Not much beer here. Some residual murkiness in the feel.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is hazy medium yellow, moderate density of tiny and small particles. Aroma is lightly malty (grain), lightly hoppy (herbs), with a solvent/chemical note. Flavor is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is moderately bitter, lightly acidic, unclean. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, lightly astringent. Quite similar to the Karlovacko I just tried: husky, solventy, very little malt character, unclean. But the nice lacing and lasting head along with a reasonably substantial body are partially redeeming.

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Light golden color with a voluminous head with large bubbles. Aroma of faint hops and alcohol. Light palate. A sour dry finish. Not enough malt to cover the alcohol and hops. Not much else to write about.

1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Yellow; plastic, herbal hops on the nose with some faintly smokey phenols; almost crisp in its bitterness and has a hint of malt. Off-dry finish.
