UPDATED: JAN 30, 2014 16oz green glass bottle pours with a clear deep gold body that supports a nearly bright white head of foam. The frigid cold aroma offers up some spicy earthy hops that border on faint onion dankness. Mostly masked by the cold are snippets of sugar sweetness that murmur out of the glass from time to time. The taste starts with malt sweetness and a bit of sweet pear fruity esters. It then picks up mild hoppy notes that are spicy, a dash dank and floral. While very cold this isn’t too bad. I expect as it warms the sweetness will ramp up. I’m digging the hoppiness. I actually need to bump my rating up higher. This is one of the better Pale Lagers I’ve had. I might even buy another one of these, that’s never happened for me with this style.

500ml bottle into a shaker glass; served cold. Aroma: Mild malt. Bread, no trace of corn or rice. Slight hop pokes through. Appearance: Clear, dark yellow body. White head that starts off thick, but gradually dissipates down to nothing but a thin cap. Moderate lacing. Taste: Burned malt. Weird, off, minty flavor. Palate: Light body, slightly watery. Near-instant finish. Overall: Not that great at all. Thin and watery with little flavor.
