Zahre Canapa is a pils-based beer with hemp adjuncts. 750 ml, best before date says six months after bottling (August 2010). Pours pale yellow body with cloudy appearance due to suspension of tiny yeasty particles, topped by quickly dissipating white head. Hemp-dominated aroma with citric overtones and notes of hops. The flavor is herbal with prominent citric yeasty tartness and faint hoppy bitterness. Overall impression is of watery hefeweizen with addition of herbal component. Light bodied with soft carbonation. If you cant choose between alcohol and a joint this one is for you.

White gone in secs over very pale yellow beer with greenish shine. Citric, vanilla, fresh garden herbs. Dull grainy but with a little lemony-herbal tinge. Light to medium bodied; sticky, very dry finish. Not bad, not great neither. Thanks to Lorenzo and the Italian gang!

Hazy light blond color. Light aroma, with some perfumy soap, European hop and grains. Light malt taste, some sweetness, the cannabis leaves a pleasant trace, good bitterness level at the end.

Bottled 0.75. The colour is very pale, cloudy with a good white head and good retention. Carbonation is quite high. Smelling I can distinct an herbal aroma and malt sweetness. A subtle but distinctive aroma remembering cannabis is also noticeable. Fruits (lemon, melon) but less in evidence. Medium sweet, citric, light bitter. Light body, astringent in the finish with a quite long final (yes, the cannabis like herb flavour still remain). It seems a bottom fermenting beer, a sort of cloudy, spicy pilsner. I like it.

Bottled 0,75L. Unusual and strangest. Light and much evanescent foam. Elegant color, yellow pale a lot veiled and torbid. Optimal fizz. Complex and spiced scent. Determined notes of fruit like mango, lemon and melon. Rumors of marjoram, thymus, indeed much rich one. Acidulous and prickly. Light and imperceptible bitter. Sweetish and sourish end. Indeed much strange one.
