Jan. ’16. On tap at the brewpub. It poured a hazy reddish brown body with a big head. Pleasant herbal and apple aroma, unpasteurized hops. Also malty, caramel and sugar. Lightly sweet flavor, caramel, licorice, yeasty - chalky. Medium body. Sweetish chalky and honey finish. Quite fine and well balanced Polotmave.

All the 3 different beers that I tried at this brewpub were not so different. This one had some yeast and caramel flavour and aroma.

On tap at the brewpub. Poured a dark reddish amber body with a thick, small white head. Dusty, but pleasant sweetish caramel aroma. Taste... Malt-dominated, somewhat sweet, caramelly, vaaaague banana, full. Well crafted, solid but not moreish for me.

Výčap Zámocký. Tmavšia jantárová farba, biela pena, veľmi rýchlo padla - zlé čapovanie. Vôňa karamelová, pražené slady, chmel. V chuti stredne plné telo, sladké, karamelové tóny. Neskôr pražené slady a jemne oriešky.

Tapped at the brewpub. Adjusted recipe. This semi dark lager is fantastic! The smell of minor rostaed malt, malt and hops reminds me of a standard lager by Zamocky brewery. However, some good notes of sliced wild apples. The aroma is great, no doubt! The taste is a blend of malt, roasted malt and hops and overall very well balanced with some really minor notes of warming alcohol and pleasant hops and some roasted malt in the end. Maybe a bit sweet in the aftertaste, but nothing disturbing. Overall a very good semi dark lager, probably the best I have drunk in the region of Slovakia and the Czech Republic in the past 2 years.

From tap @Zámocký Pivovar, Bratislava. Pours a hazy red amber body, covered by a dense and creamy yellow blond head. Sweet-scented caramel and maltrops aroma. Yeasy tones and modest hops. Taste has a strong caramel-sweetnes with notes of brown sugar and molasses. A refreshing fruity acidity underneath. Mild bitter endnotes. Drinks good, a tad too sweet to stand out. [12.04.13]

Tap at the brewpub. It pours cloudy deep red-Brown with a medium off-white head. The nose is fermented fruit, bruised apple, toast, wood, faint sourness and spice. The taste is caramel, toast, mouldy wood, apple, some bitterness and earth with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. definately tastes better than it smells. A bit odd.
