COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Note: At the time of the RBESG 2012, in July 2012, the waiters insisted that what they served was the Tmavé 12° despite the menu (still) saying it was the 13°. Check with the waiters what you’re drinking.

Výčap Zámocký. Tmavo hnedá až čierna farba, krémová pena, rýchlo opadla. Vôňa pražených sladov, karamelu, horkej kávy, orieškov. Plnšie telo, stredná nasýtenosť. V chuti dosť veľká sladkosť, prevažujú karamelové tóny a na konci pražené slady.

On tap. Mahogany color, off-white head, some lacing. Aroma was caramel malt, with some roasted notes. Flavor was very malty, with some slight floral hops. Overall a decent beer.

Draught at the Zámocky Pivovar, Bratislava, Slovakia. Dark reddish brown colour with a small frothy light tan head. Mild sweet toasted malty aroma. The flavour is sweet malt, mild roasty notes, diacetyl and bready notes. Not the best tmavé around. Soft carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tapped at the brewpub.Color is like dark espresso. The smell is a mix of roasted coffee and dark chocolate. The is a minor of fresh green apples. The aftertaste remids for coffee without sugar and milk. I recommend it with the chocolate cake.

Tapped at the brewpub. Creamy espresso head, beige color. Beer color is almost absolute black, but dark amber when flash lighted. Aroma is fantastic! Roasted malt, some dark fruit, and a fresh pealed green apple, but only marginal. The pleasant minor sourness reminds me of that apple. The taste is of roasted malt, very bitte coffee, hops with a dark chocolate aftertaste. Overall a very very good dark lager!

50 cl mug at the brewery. Dark brown color, hazed, creamy tan head. Aroma is roasted malts, toasted, good cereals, very tasty. Still a doughy thing, but pretty smooth. Sweetish with a proper hoppy balance. Light to medium bodied, low carbonation, very pleasing and smooth. Crude feel as the others, fresh and appreciable.

2l PETka from the brewpub. Hazy deep brown colour, lots of chocolate in the flavour with a shy hoppy touch. Good stuff!
