1.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Labelled as Zatec Glutenfree. Golden with small, quickly disappearing head. Light aroma of bread, a bit watery and weak. Not the typical aroma and palate. One of the dullest czech beers I have sampled; is it the lacking gluten? Bit of a shame for the Saaz (Zatec) region.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Clear golden with a white head. Huge diacetyl aroma with some grainy malts, but mostly butter. Flavour is also mostly butter except some white bread, flowers, citrus and grass. Medium to lighter mouthfeel with soft carbonation, smooth texture. Too much diacetyl and no real bitterness.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Sample at a tasting at Systembolaget, February 2013. (labeled as Zatec Gluten Free Beer)
Clear golden with a white head. Rather sweet with malt, grain and some honey. Also some notes of tea. The body was light. Drinkable but boring.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottled. Deep golden colour, mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is grassy hops along with some bready maltyness and some slight herbal notes. Flavour is quite similar with a quite big bite from the carbonation and also nice bitterness to it. A bit empty on it’s own.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
04/05 A 0.5 l bottle courtesy of ogivlado, thanks for sharing! It poured yellow body with small or tiny head. Sweeter malty aroma. Simple light sweet flavor, some hops, but not much. Medium bodied. Sweetish and slightly bitter hop finish. Not offensive but quite boring and not a match for a decent Bohemian pilsener, although, for a gluten-free beer, surely fine.
