3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
(Bottled, sampled earlier when RB was broken) Very dark, reddish brown with a medium, lightly lemonadey and lacy, fading head. Lightly roasty malt in the flavor, with grassy-herby hops and a touch of chocolate. Roasty-caramely, slightly sweet-sour-malty flavor with some burnedness, herby hops, and moderately bitter and metallic in the finish. Light to medium, quite thin body with fizzy-lemonadey carbonation. No Xmasy or warming qualities here. Too thin to compete with anything but Finnish bulk Xmas beers.
