0.33 l bottle. Mahagony color with big creamy head. Malty aroma with light roastedness, dark bread, smoke and licorice. Sweetish malty flavor with bready roastedness, toffee, some caramel and some herbal hops. Roasty and bitter finish. Nice to taste roastier czech beer for a while.

A 0.33L bottle from Alko shop. Pale brown head. Dark brown colour. At the beginning mild chocolatey nose. Slightly bitter coffeish and malty taste.Slightly dry. Some syrop in the taste. When getting warmer some raisin in the nose.

330 ml bottle. Blackish-brown color, frothy tan head. Hoppy aroma with some mineral notes. Dark malty flavor with some very dark chocolate. Medium-full body, medium carbonation. Fairly thick mouthfeel. It’s reasonable.

33cl bottle. Dark clear brown, small fizzy beige head. Molassy aroma, little butter, syrup, herbs and salt. Some cherries in the flavor, along with mild liquorice, dr. pepper, herbs and syrupy maltiness. Little alcohol found. Light bodied, coarse soda like carbonation. Its got flavors, but just not all that pleasant ones.

Very dark red, small persistent head. Burnt raisiny malty aroma. Rich hazelnut taste, and a quite dry palate. Nutty finish. Good czech dunkel.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of thewolf. Pours a clear dark brown with a reddish hue and a small beige head. Aroma of roasted malt and burned caramel. Quite full-bodied with sweet burned caramel, almost like rock candy. Subdued bitterness. Lovely. 270608

Bottled. Dark brown with a thick, smallbubbled beige head. Sugary and roasted bread in the aroma, plums. Taste very fresh and hoppy, with a bit more sweetness towards the end. Very dry for a christmas beer (don’t actually know if it is one, there’s some christmas stuff on the bottle).

Bottled(500ml). -Dark brown coloured, medium sized tan head, toffee nose. Light roasted malt, caramel, bitter coffee and very hoppy taste with discreet notes of chocolate. Pleasant moderate bitter hoppy finish and aftertaste. Very good Czech dunkel.
