Bottle. Pours a murky dark brown with a thick beige head. Aroma of toasted malts, caramel and chocolate. Flavor was lightly sweet with caramel, chocolate, toasted malts, mild hops and had a long bitter finish.

On tap, Prague beer museum. Dark ruby, smooth medium beige head, rather quickly disappearing. Aroma only very subtle, but quite pleasant - mostly cocoa? Body lighter than one would expect, bitter-sweet taste, not much on the palate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A very enjoyably Czech Tmavy! Flavorful aroma, nice opaque ruby appearance, tastes of roasty malt with cocoa highlights. Manages to have both an earthy taste and a clean caramel finish. Has a great full body and is creamier than other dark lagers. Strongly recommended. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Dark ruby red, brown actually. Light brown foam head. Aroma is bit malty, bit caramel. Taste starts of little licorice, turning little caramel, not too strong. Lasting fresh taste in mouth. (Velp 201311)

I had this at Global Brew. Pours reddish-brown with off white head. Taste sweet, Carmel, chocolate. I thought this was good. I would drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
