Bottle picked up at pivoteka in Pilsen, obviously mainly meant for export as I’d never found it before in czecholand and it had the American warnings on the label about not operating heavy machinery when you’re pregnant or whatever. Anyways, a dark browny shade of purple with a thin but lasting head; aroma of wet bank notes; some black olive brine, texture firm as with zatec water; medium bitterness with some Saaz showing, of course. Very drinkable dunkel

Was expecting more from this but, not much body, slight smokiness, not much aroma, nothing special.

Draft at one of my locals, Churchkey, in Washington DC! Whoa! Murky dark brown color, tan head, solid lacing. Aroma of chocolate biscuit and a bit of pepper. Taste starts sweep and syrupy, then only a bit of bitterness to balance. OK.

The aroma just seems blah with cardboard, toasted malt, chocolate, and hops. The appearnace is light brown with a foamy head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall not very impressive but drinkable.

Cola looking beer with aromas of caramel, and some hops. Tastes of lots of caramel notes, some butterscotch, mild milk chocolate, and some hints of herbal hops. Sweet finish, a bit cloying. Smooth beer, and quite filling. Pretty good.

Cola, brown sugar nose. Clear and reddish. Clean and malty, a bit of chocolate, actually pretty tasty. Very simple as dunkels always are.
