3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
(bottle) Hazy, pale golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Slightly sweet and lightly grainy aroma with spicy herbal hops and a distinctive touch of dusty barnyard. Balanced bitterness - sweetness ratio, light to medium bodied with a well-matured and soft carbonation. Yeasty and herbal taste on a soft pale malty base; quite dry and aromatic hoppy finish. Pleasant Zwickel-Export.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: MAY 29, 2006 Bottle. Golden color, slightly hazy. Malt and pear aroma and flavor. Hint of rubber and boiled milk. Lively and tasty beer with some distant hopbitterness. You can smell a Franconian farmhouse in this beer. (6 3 6 2 12 = 2.9)
Brewery tap: malty, even a bit buttery flavor with a soft but persistant hopbitterness. Friendly and low on carbon. Well made!
