Säuerlich-hefiger, leicht herber Antrunk. Erfrischend, zu leicht, zum Ende hin eher langweilig und kaum aromatisch.

Had this at the brewery itself. Excellent very fruity banana aroma (maybe because of some special yeast?!) and in comparison to other german Hefeweizen it is hopped a bit more. The only demerit is the quickly resolving foam.

Hazy orange with a large off white head. Sweet and yeasty aroma with wheat and banana. Sweet and yeasty flavour with wheat and banana. Finished sweet.

Bottle at the brewpub. Banana aroma, slightly rough. Cloudy golden orange colour. Stable white head. The flavour has some banana, a little rough.

Bottle @ Stohrenkeller, Bamberg. Pours dark unclear orange with a small creamy white head and lacings. Nose is citrus, wheat, banana and yeast. Quite complex. Refreshing and crisp flavor.Orange, citrus, coriander and wheat. Nice Hefe.

Had this at The Pelikan, Bamberg, Germany 18-06-10 great bar, but limp England performance (0-0 versus Algeria) Glowing orange appearance like a nuclear experiment in a glass it glows! The yeast leaving yeasty vapour trails in glass. The taste is soft squidgy banana, medium carbonation, stringy fruitiness, touch of citrus, nice beer. A6 A5 T7 P4 Ov13 3.5

It’s unclear, warm golden with a creamy, white head and rising pearls of carbonation. The aroma has notes of clove and banana. The flavour is sweet with notes of clove/yeast, banana, light wheat and the finish is spicy. It’s a truly nice weizen.

Murky orange light gery / white color with a large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy yeasty, banana, fruity, rubber, cramel notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration, fruity. Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft. [20091226]

Very cloudy. Thick rocky head. Very yeast nose with light banana and hints of foot. Fresh and wheaty but tart as well. Light banana and apple skin. Solid weizen.

Dark yellow with lasting white cap. Banana cookie/biscuit aroma. Smooth, very nice palate. Cookie flavors are great here, reminding me of wholemeal biscuit. Finishes super clean and refreshing.
