Commercial Description:
In the second half of 17th century, after the troubled times of the Hussite wars had ended, abbot Siard Falco revived the monastic life in Zeliv. Forget the bitterness of hops and the tang of beer - Siard Falco is beer that will caress your palate. Natural morello cherry extract gives Sirad Falco an unusual pinkish hue and a fruity flavour. The harmonious balance of its ingredients and the rounded taste of malt creates -- despite the absence of sugar -- a honeyed taste reminiscent of dry cherry... Cherry beer Sirad Falco will be appreciated especially by women or it can be a suitable alternative to a glass of wine.

Bottled(330ml). -Light hazy mahagony coloured, like Castulus also no head, perfumey acidic cherry nose. Artificial and industrial cherry taste like cherry shampoo. Again no hops. Quite unpleasant cherry beer, Purkmistr Višnove is much better.

A clear dark red/amber colored beer, with a beige head. It disappears rather quickly. The aroma is very fruity, cherries. Sweet with notes of malt. The taste is thin watery, touches of fruit, sweet, a bit bitter and dry. The aftertaste bittersweet is quickly gone.

If I would have known this is a fruit beer I would not have bought it. Looked like an abbey dubbel style to me from the looks of the bottle (mine was in a brown bottle and a red label with everything written in Czech). Light amber colour, no head, almost completely flat. Aroma of artificial sweet cherry and candy (zuurtjes). Flavour is also candy cherry, and some wateriness. Body is very thin. Bad stuff.

Another strange beer from Klášterní Pivovar Želiv. This beer also have no head and low carbonation. The aroma contains cinnemon and some hops. There is some hops in the taste also but overall this is like a Dr.Pepper softdrink combined with some hops.

Bottle. Clear red color. Aroma is really murky and not pleasant at all. Taste was a bit sweet with a smooth mouthfeel and som nice cherry and caramel notes.
