3.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a black body, with a rich brown head that stays fully in my glass. Not much in the arma, very faint, nots of coffee. Taste is different in any way. A festival of coffee, rosted matls, then caramel, nuts, awesome, for a greek brewery. Medium carbonation, heavy body, oily texture. It’s something more than a good try for this brewery. It’s a very good beer.

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
A lot worst than the unpasterized one. More a soft drink less a beer. I drunk only a halfe glass. I could not continue with this one.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Poured a bottle of this beer into a pint glass to drink at a Greek restaurant in Tarpon Springs, FL. The beer had a dark brown-black color, with a touch of visibility, and a deep brown hue with a very large, foamy tan head with very good retention, above average lacing, and average cling. Its aroma had a blend of earthy and grainy hops mixed with toffee, molasses, and caramel, and a touch of chocolate. The beer had a sweet malty and toffee flavor with notes of chocolate and caramel and a slighter bitter grainy touch. The body was wet with low-to-average carbonation, and was light-to-average in character and mouthfeel.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottled@wPBFIII. Deep coppery brown colour, small brown head. Aroma is soapy, mild nutty and sappy notes. Flavour is big time saccharine, sweeness with mild toasted and roasted notes. Interesing, but too sweet and somehow artificial thanks to the saccharine.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
50 cl bottle @ wPBF’14, BBE 05/2014
Aroma feels unclean with sugar, syrupy tones - feels like kotikalja. Flavour is oversweet with sugar, syrupy tones and some cocoa. Feels artifical. Like some cheap east European ’dunkel’.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottled 500ml from Beer Factory
Dark nut brown color, small steady beige head. Toasted aroma has milky notes and caramel. Light bodied and watery palate. Milky with hints licorice and caramel. Low bitterness, sweetish. Could be maltier for this ABV.

Its appearance, aroma, flavors, body, and finish is very well balanced, but has a terrible Label, very confusing.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle from Greekbeershop.gr. Pours clear dark ruby as Coke with a small tanned head, fast disappearing. Aroma of grainy malts, weak smoke and roast. Taste is very weak roasted malts, light sweet, thin watery mouthfeel, not amongst the best schwarzbier i have had.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Note* The bottle has exactly the same label as the bottle with the unpasteurized version and the same barcode also. In fact on the 1 Liter unpasteurized bottle the "500 ml" of the label was crossed out with a blue permanent marker.
Bottle, 500 ml, bought in Greece, poured into a lager glass. ABV 5%
Black body with two fingers of froathy, beige head. Low retention, no lacing left on the glass.
Great aroma. Milky chocolate up front, then from the back are coming aromas of roasted malts and some coffee too.
Nice taste too, roasted malts here too that linger on the aftertaste and coffee on the finish. Some metallic notes, nothing too offensive though.
Medium thick body, average, biting carbonation. Oily palate.
Overall very nice beer, especially when you consider it comes from a greek microbrewery.
