330ml BLUE bottle into lager glass. Clear golden amber beer, fine active bubbles, foamy two finger white head. Strong nose of brown bread and peppery hops. Sweet taste, medium body. Finish is grainy and bitter with a very late touch of sweetness. More complex than I expected it to be.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
From bottle in Greek restaurant in Calgary, Alberta. Typical looking lager with maitly, grassy aroma. I understand the patriotic choice of a blue bottle for a Greek beer but it’s also the best glass for promoting sun strike. Enjoy indoors!

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
500 ml bottle. (Cava Π) Athens, Greece.
It’s called Blue Mak, although it’s not Makedoniki Syntaghi but Elliniki Syntaghi. I don’t know if there’s a difference.
Clear golden colour with a small white head.
Mild floral hops, sweetness, cookies and malt in the aroma. The aroma is very much English Ale. As is the flavour. Sweetness, cookies, mild hops and malt. Decent.
