3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Argonian (133) - Athens, GREECE - SEP 30, 2012
Bottle. Pours a golden body, with a low to average white head that doesn’t even move, might be the best head I have seen in a beer so far. Malt dominates the aroma, with notes of hops, you can understand the beer is fresh. Malty, heavy bitter taste, with medium bitter aftertaste, couldn’t be better. Medium carboation level, oily texture, thin to medium body. Really can’t expect more. Very good beer for it’s style, already bought 20 bottles of this :)
2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 humlelala (687) - DENMARK - AUG 28, 2012
UPDATED: SEP 20, 2012 (Re-rate of the sibling to the bottle mentioned in the below three weeks later with about 10 of those days sitting in a dark cabinet at room temperature to allow the yeast to eat the diacetyl) Pours clear golden with frothy, white head and plenty of carbonation. Decent retention and impressive lacing. A bit of trub formed on the side of the bottle during bottle conditioning but it didn’t seem to enter the glass. Aroma is grainy, malty, dusty with hints of cabbage and something slightly acrid. A little butter still left in the flavour but far less than before. Gives way to a definite hoppy bitterness, which I find refreshing. Oily texture, medium body, lively carbonation and a lingering, dry finish. Taste is mildly bitter. More pleasant now even if the aroma didn’t improve that much upon the butter going away. Girlfriend refuses to taste it.

(1L PET bottle from Beerfactory, Chalandri, Athens; BBD: October 6th 2012) Pours clear golden with ample, white head and lively carbonation. Decent retention and lace. Aroma is buttery. Oily texture, light body and a lightly bitter finish. Flavour is buttery but also has notes of hops and malt. Probably drank it too fresh considering it’s been refrigerated since delivery. Girlfriend says: "It’s nasty!"

Great beer to clense your thirst. The plastic bottle is not the best thing but being unpasteurised gives a nice taste at the end and you forget all about the bottle
