Aroma is cola, dark candy sugar, roasted barley. Taste is reasonably balanced, dark fruits, bready.

Decent dark beer with a nice background story. Enjoyable flavours.

33cl Bottle. Brewed 08/07. Trade with HenrikB. Pours dark ruby amber with a small creamy white head and lacings. Nose is dark fruit, caramel and molasses and a vague oxidation underneath. Vinous flavor - dark fruit, liquorice , caramel and a clearer note of cellar. Smooth and full bodied. Probably really good when fresh!

Flaske 0,33l på Afspanning t’ Waagstuk, Antwerpen 28 Apr 11. Amber. Medium luftig skum. Aroma med karamell. Søt fruktsmak: Plommer. Litt karamell igjen. Mye kullsyre. Blir vel søt. Alkoholen godt kamuflert. Mye sedimenter i flaska.

Sourish, almost sweaty nose. Pretty sweet beer, dark malts, chocolate, burning alcoholic-finish. Unbalanced.

Sampled at Waagstuk. Fusel aroma. Chestnut, nice brown head. Fruity flavor, but mostly fuseloils and alcohol. Medium body, Sparkly mouthfeel. Estery strawberry aftertaste. Cant say I was thrilled.
