muzzlehatch (4424), Burlington, Vermont, USA Nov 17, 2006 Draught pint at the brewpub. Very, very unfiltered, murky-dirty light brown with hints of ruby, lasting smallish head and a bit of lace....expected yeasty, bready aroma, hints of caramel, light sweet herbs (tarragon) and almonds...woody, thickly malty and sweet with a touch of fruitiness (apple/pear cider), lots of lovely caramel, moderate finishing bitterness....low carbonation, very bready/doughy thick mouthfeel, really a lovely pint if not exactly exciting; would love to see this on cask!
