Dark Mild
A tribute to the British beer hunter Michael “the Bard of Beer” Jackson (not to be confused with the King of Pop), this is a light and flavorful malt-accented brown session ale. Brewed with all English malt, hops and yeast. Have a session in honor of the Bard!

[5316-20130429] Tap. Mild toasted grainy multigrain bread fruit aroma. Slightly hazy, dark red body with a quick foamy white head. Toasted fruity grains flavour has a nice light coffee-dusted bread aftertaste. Medium body. Tasty. (7/3/7/3/15) 3.5

Draft at three penny with Linh, Minh and Angela. Pours a deep hazy mahogany with thin white lacing. Aroma is sweet fruity malts and raisin bread. Mouthfeel is medium with notes of sweet malts, fruit, and sweet bread. Nice rounded malt flavor. Easy drinking.

tap on the premises. unclear light brown-reddish with a small light beige head, some retention and lacing. pungent earthy and mineral notes, faint toasted cereals, celery, dry nuttiness, earthy caramel, hint of dry demerara. moderate carbonation, light body - watery, dry grassy-earthy finish. kind of offensive.

Tap: Poured a light clear brown color ale with a small light brown foamy head with light retention. Aroma of light caramelized malt with really nice floral hoppy notes that are subtle but still noticeable. Taste is also a solid mix between some light caramelized malt with dry aftertaste with nice subtle floral hoppy notes with a dry finish. Body is light with medium carbonation. Super great example of the style.

8 ounce sample on tap at the brewpub. The aroma is lightly sweet with light toastiness. Scant anise is also present. Some chocolate is also in the nose, too. Transparent cola color with a small, quickly dissipating off-white head. Starts with a mild toasted and sweet malt flavoring. Becomes a little astringent in the middle. Fleeting light sweet finish. Lacking, even for a mild ale...

2013-04-29. Nice dark brown body with a small beige head. 3++ Modest aroma, dry molasses like dark malt. Flavour is dryish, minerally character, molasses like malt. Average to light bodied palate, light carbonation. Some nice highlights but overall impression is just okay. On tap at American Flatbread, Burlington
