on tap-pours a white head with a few bubbles and brown with orange color. Aroma is fruity, medium malt, rock candy. Taste is fruity, medium malt, rock candy. Nice, straight forward. OK carbonation.

Sep 28, 2008 Bu sur place en fut (12oz seulement), le 26/9/08 (ma fête). Brune caramel brumeuse, un peu de collet. Arome de malte caramelisé aux pommes avec des notes d’épices sucrés. Goût sucré épicé très bien balancé, orge malté délicieuse et peu fruité, finission d’alcool réchaufant. Une double très solide et savoureuse, un plaisir pour les senses!

Nov 6, 2007 (Draught) Pours a hazy amber body with a medium creamy beige head. Aroma of baked molasses, toast, cherry, and raisins. Flavor of caramel, toasted malt, raisins, brown sugar, and light herbs.

Aug 5, 2007 Tap at the brewpub - cloudy brown with a lasting, off-white lace - aroma of carmelized brown sugar, plum and other dark fruits - light mustiness and candi sugar - medium-sweet, with brown sugar, dates, raisins, a hint of rum and a light alcohol warmth - I really enjoyed this one.
