COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A robust dark ale with plenty of roasted malt character. Coffee, chocolatey goodness with enough hops to balance. Put your 9th grade superstitious self aside and cross paths with this nimble beast. 13°

A reddish brown porter with a thin creamy moka head. A good vanilla fudge aroma, with cave and butterscotch. In mouth, a nice chocolate malt, restrained and blended. Medium bodied. On tap at brewpub, Nov. 30 2008, with Sponge and Goldorak.

The Lure:
Roasted malts accompany the sweet fruitiness, but nothing calls out to me. Shy, but apparently balanced.

The Festivities:
Citrusy hops and roasted malt combine in a dry and bitter finale. Grapes succeed in linking the two sides, achieving balance. Another quaffable and humble pint from Zero Gravity.

Transcendence:
Sitting on the windowsill, watching the day pass by in silence.

2013-04-28.V dark brown black body, small foamy tan head. Aroma of tangy fruit, almost blackberry like, modest roast. Flavour is pretty dry up front, roasty malt, sort of tangy fruit character follows. Average bodied palate, decent carbonation feels light for a porter. Decent. On tap at American Flatbread, Burlington

Pours a nearly-opaque dark brown with a thin ring of tan head. Aroma is mild and lightly-roasted with a touch of English hops. Body starts with a semi-sweet toasty, then dry malty presence with a nice bittering balance. Has a smooth, yet full malty palate. A nice, easy drinking and flavorful porter.

Rastacouere (6122) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 26, 2005
Deep brown flow, tiny-off white head. Dominating roasted flavours bring on sandy, earthy and slightly floury nuances that accentuates the hops being on the light side. Rooty and not very complex in mouth. Ultimately quite average. High carbonation, light-medium bodied.

Draft. Pours near black with a beige head. Light roasted malty aroma, with toasted grainy notes and a light nutty sweetness. The flavor has nutty and lightly roasted malts with some toasted grainy notes. Pretty good.

(Rating #2167)

[5297-20130428] Tap. Lightly roasted malt grain aroma has a hint of coffee. Clear, dark mahogany brown body with a medium-lasting foamy off-white head. Sweet roasted malt grain flavour has a lingering light roast wood note. Medium-full body. Tasty, good. (7/3/7/3/15) 3.5
