My Bottom Line:
This delicate and crisp German-style Pilsener proffers svelte honeyed cereals atop herbal hops in an easy-drinking mouthfeel.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam skirts the hazy yellow.
-The flavor profile is lighter than that of their other Pilseners.
-The minuscule bubbles weren’t too effervescent.
-The finish was a slow fade out of the balanced flavor profile.

On tap at the brewpub.

(Rating #585)

Slightly cloudy yellow with a small white head. Draught at Burlington beerfest 2006. Crisp body, grassy, minerals mouthfeel. Generously hopped. Citrus and some tartness in the finale. Very refreshing with enough bite in the finale to make it an above average pilsner. Zero Gravity + Christina, that gives me some strange ideas.

Draught pint at the brewpub. Cloudy gold, nearing opacity with just a hint of quickly decaying foam....fresh, simple grassy nose, fairly acerbic and intense, with faint hints of thyme and rosemary.....the body is stunningly bitter and dry, grassy with lots of Saaz hops, faint honey sweetness at the front cuts the bitterness just enough, light pale malt makes for a refreshing, lighter and simpler example than last year’s (stunning) summer Pauls Pilsener. Though no match for that more complex, fuller masterpiece, this is another worthy lager from this state’s best lager brewer.
