(Rating #4296)

In short: A typical citrusy session pale ale of superior quality
How: Tap at Tap-NY 2012
The look: Clear golden body toped by a medium off-white head leaving good lacings on the glass.
In long: Nose is citrusy hops. Taste typical citrusy pale ale except with this one everything is well done, just the right amount of slightly toasted biscuity caramelized malts and just the right amount of citrusy hops with a bright a fresh quality. Nothing original here, I’ve had probably 100 similar beers to this one, however this one was above average, another reason why I love brewpubs and the freshness quality. I also love the fresh pizzas at this brewpub. Nothing beats locally grown fresh vegetables, unless you count things that are not vegetables, then a million things beat locally grown fresh vegetables.

A hazed dark amber ale with a thin lacing big bubbled off white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with fragrant floral hops, light clover, very nice and smooth. In mouth, a smooth biscuit malt with floral hops, very British, nice and smooth, well balanced. Cask at AFB Burlington, March 18 2012.
