3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Dickinsonbeer (5075) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - FEB 25, 2011
Tap at BT. Pours a mostly clear dull copper amber with a thinning head to nothing. Aroma is a bit weak- some grassy notes, tea, light caramel malts,, slight burnt toast and light fruity ester. Flavor is light caramel, slight burnt toasted malts, grass, herbs, tea, - needs more bitter or mineral, or different water- seemed a bit thin to me even at the 3.7% abv. Still - no flaws I guess. Ok.

A reddish amber ale with a thin lacing white head. Aroma of British hops and teabag. In mouth, a watery caramel malt with faint hops. Again, rather boring. On tap at brewpub, July 12 2010
