In short: A very sweet, fruity and slightly spicy dark ale.
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Clear mahogany body topped by a beige ring of foam
In long: Nose of a freshly baked fruity cake. Taste is rather sweet (too sweet) with lots of residual sugars. Flavors of brownies, fruit cake, booze, spices. Nothing special here. I had a glass of this while eating a lot of pizzas in a brewpub immediately after a four hours tasting session at a beer festival. Yep. I’m not really enthusiastic about becoming a fat out-of-shape beer drinker but I’m even less enthusiastic about doing something about it.

A deep red copper bock with a thin off white head. Intense and smooth dark fruits aroma, fusel alcohol, wood extract and vanilla. In mouth, a silky oil bock with notes of cinnamon, caramel, fruity esters, not bad. On tap at brewpub, July 12 2010

On tap at Vermont Brewfest 2010.Murky brown pour, good sized beige head. Aroma holds mostly caramel malt, bread, and a touch of molasses. Flavor is similar-- not complex, and not particularly interesting. Still, an OK brew.
