(Draught) Sampled at the brewpub in Burlington, VT. Thin, lasting white head with a mildly carbonated golden body. Nose is milky, banana with mild ABV. Corn and fairly oily and rich flavour with undertones of iodine.

Clear golden body with a thin white head that leaves nice lacing on the glass. Very good aroma and flavor of saaz hops with crisp, biscuity malt and citrus. The body is medium with a moderate to lively carbonation. I love the malt in this pilsner, it balances the hops really well, I could drink a lot of this refreshing beer.

Sampled on tap at the brewpub
Golden with only a faint haze, fickle froth, but crackling bubbles emerging from the bottom of my glass. Definite saaz nose, but perhaps a bit more flowery. Bustling carbonation, it was smooth, but not at all watery, and went really well with the pizza served at the pub. Easily the best pils I had all weekend, and perhaps second-best only to some of l’Amère a boire’s offerings, for brewpub pils at least.

Pours a clear pale golden with a nicely lacing white head. Pleasant subtle biscuit maltiness and great Saaz hoppy balance permeate the aroma. Body starts with a nice malty, but light sweetness and good, semi-floral hop presence. Big flavor for a pils, yet very smooth and incredibly drinkable due to its fine balance.

Draught pint at the brewpub. Served in a pint glass, aargh, but that’s the only misstep. Hazy, unfiltered gold, suitably large and craggy fully lasting snowy head...stunning gigantic expressive nose of honeysuckle, lilac, plenty of saaz hops, and a touch of woodsmoke, this shows how complex and involving a pils aroma can be! Mouthfeel is excellent as well, full and tingly with a perfect slightly high level of carbonation...light lemony sourness contrasts well with vanilla in the moderately sweet, malty middle...finish is rather dry and subtly bitter...could be just a bit crisper perhaps and just a touch hoppier in the middle, but that’s just nitpicking, this is a terrifically fine pils that I couldn’t go away without drinking two of, definitely the best yet from this up-and-coming star on the Burlington scene.
