Unclear - hazy medium orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus, spicy - ginger, spicy herbs - tea. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, ginger - herbs - tea, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100803]

Cask at GBBF 2010. An unclear golden beer with no head. The aroma has notes of malt and herbs I can’t put names to. The flavo ris sweet with notes of malt and spices, leading to a dry spicy finish.

UPDATED: FEB 28, 2011 From cask. Pours hazy dark brown to orange with a small white head. Aroma is dark malty and roasted, slight spiced too. Sweet malty and slight spiced. Bitter and roasted malty. Sweet and caramelish into the finish. 6-3-6-3-11=2.9
From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is slight phenolic and malty. Mild spiced, yeasty and slight phenolic. Spiced and herbal, slight phenolic. Ends dry and malty, light spiced.6-3-6-3-13=3.1

Cask@GBBF2010. Hazy nutty orange colour with small head. Aroma is fruits, wheat, grass and some very herbal notes. Flavour is quite similar along with some mild yeasty and earthy notes. A quite interesting brew.

3rd August 2010. GBBF Very hazy mid brown beer. Residual suddy head. Light palate - slightly dry. Sweet floral fruit. Oranges, red fruits. Finishes dry - nice Gruit - not overly herby!

Fruity aroma. Amber coloured hazy in appearance and strong in alcohol with a hint of dryness in a sweet finish.

A reddish amber ale with a thin big bubbled off white head. A pleasant apple and maple aroma, with notes of vanilla and cinnamon. In mouth, a sweet light malty drink, which still need to ferment for a bit. On tap at brewpub, Nov. 30 2008, with Sponge and Goldorak.
