BCTC 2008. On tap. Goldish to amberish pour. Aroma is yeasty, slightly herbal & sweet. Taste is overly sweet to me on top of some Belgian spiciness, yeastiness, sweet fruits, maybe some caramel maltiness. Decent but too sweet IMO

Tap at Blind Tiger. Rather dark pour for a tripel, with a nice head. Lightly fruity aroma , kiwi, with some chewy caramel, malts, and a weak but noticable belgian yeast aroma. Flavor is a bit unimpressive, light mint and sweet fruits, with some dought yeast. Pretty good, especially for an American tripel that isnt going for the hoppy belgian thing.

Draft at the Blind Tiger. Tawny gold, big ol white head w. nice lacing. Nose is grapes & yeasty spice, bubblegummy fruit, sage. Flavor is yeasty fruit, herbal - more of that sage, other herbs I cant place. Spices lend to a dryish mouthfeel. Fruity yeasty finish, caramel, maybe a hint of DMS.

Draft at the Blind Tiger. Orange amber pour with fluffy white head. Aroma is spices (clove?) and a lot of sweet / fruity malt. The flavor is very sweet, with bubblegum / banana malt, but somewhat fabricated tasting. The herbal spices balance this sweetness a little bit, but the whole thing tastes a little fake to me. Later on, I thought I was tasting some spiced apples.. not sure.

Eyedrinkale (3213) - Astoria, New York, USA - MAR 25, 2008
On tap at the Blind Tiger. Not much head on this. Aroma is malty peach and apricot. Flavor is more sweet than I wish it would be with a woody flavor youd expect from a BA beer. Some orange and mango as well.

bu11zeye (11972) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - NOV 16, 2007
(Draught) Pours a hazy orange body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of toastiness, herbs, light fruitiness, and mustiness. Flavor of sweat citric, doughy, and herbal.
