3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at American Flatbread. Pours amber/orange with a 1/2" white head and lace. Strong, sinus clearing, grapefruit hop aroma. Moderate in body with enough carbonation to be interesting. Flavor is dominated by citrus hops with a sweet malt background that becomes more noticeable as the beer warms. This was a good one.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at American Flatbread. Pours a hazy orange gold with a thin white head. Big grassy hops, lots of pine. Medium bodied, big earthy hop notes bleeding through. Nice fat grapefruit bitterness hits quickly but phases out slowly. Nice.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
20080914 Tap at brewpub. Standard IPA appearance (these things always look the same in bright brewpub lights to me), with lasting but thin head. Quite bitter, especially at finish, with a good dose of c hops. Mild but persistent diacetyl flavor and aroma, but palate not really affected.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
In short: A crisp archetypical session American IPA of superior quality
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Clear golden body topped by a persistent small off-white head
In long: Nice hoppy nose that has notes pine-tree, citrus and grapefruits. Body is well malted but feels light with its lightly toasted biscuit malts and a light and crisp caramel/honey sweetness. Hops bring a bright and crisp bitterness and a light dryness. This beer is all about drinkability. Not heavy, not resinous, tasty but refreshing. Nothing new here but this is a very good session IPA. Not sure what the name T.L.A. stands for, I donít know, maybe Three Letter Acronym?

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear pale amber beer. Aroma is a little bit earthy and a lightly spicy. There is a bit of orange and hoppy resinousness. Orange and fresh hops with a crisp pale malt base. A little bit crackery behind the hops. Fruity but fairly assertive hop flavour. Another solid beer, from a fantastic brewpub.
