A copper amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, a sweet caramel malt with loads of herbal chinotto, not bad. In mouth, a sweet caramel malt with fruity esters, light herbs, a bit short. On tap at AFB Burlington, March 18 2012.

Draft at the brewpub (Flatbread’s Burlington Hearth) - Poured a oranish-amber in color with a small whitish head that faded quickly. Low carbonation. Aroma is quite herbal, though placing any of them would require more skill than I have... just not the usual for "beer". Fruity... esters. Flavor is malty, but not sweet. The herbs come through and make for a very nice mix of flavors in lieu of the hops. Paul (brewer) seems to have a knack for this style and I have previously enjoyed other gruits he has made... no disappointment here, I like this very much... even my (non-beer drinking) wife said she liked this one!

On draft at the brewery. Orangish color with a light white head. Nice fruity notes. Crisp.

on tap-pours amber/copper and still. Aroma is sweet medium malt-caramel. Taste is sweet medium malt-caramel, spice ‘hops’.
