COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Double Wit is a new style-the breezy lightness of wit taken deeper and stronger. In addition to traditional wit spicing, we brewed with chamomile and white peppercorns.

draught at brewpub, 2 full pours into tulip glasses, from memory

Aroma: good amount of sweetness, some honey, grains, and spices/wheat

Appearance: Straw color, very hazy, nice white and dense head

Mouthfeel: medium body, very smooth, very creamy, somewhat dry finish

Taste: Some sweetness, maybe some honey, nice citrusy finish, spices and oranges used sparingly, nice wheat flavor. Very well balanced

Palate: Slightly dry

Overall: I’m a big fan of Bob White witbier and this is a "double" version of Bob White. A bit stronger alcohol than Bob White, but you can’t tell. It’s super smooth. A beer that I could drink all night and feel satisfied. Great witbier.

(Rating #4295)

A golden wit with a thin white head. In aroma, a sweet perfumey malt with light chamomile notes, smooth and lingering notes. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with bananas, cloves, chamomile, light pepper notes, oily mouth feel, smooth. On tap at AFB Burlington, March 18 2012.

burg326 (4433) - Florida, USA - FEB 22, 2012
On draft at the brewery, poured a nice hazy yellow color, aromas of bananas, spices yeast, and some pepper. Taste like a double wit beer, a little heavy on the paltate, but overall a nice beer with favors of pepper, spices yeast, and a touch of chamomile.

On draft at the brewery. A nice double wit at 6 percent. Nice and drinkable. Classic Belgian esters.
