However, someones dumped a load of cheap, sickly-sweet tropical fruit (not specifically mango) kids’ fruit juice in it. Oddly, the citrus flavour of the wheat beer seems to have become more pronounced though. Nasty, sticky finish. A bit of a mess really. yespr (12443), Copenhagen O, Denmark

Like the waiter I was talking to said, it’s like the wheat beer, but with sweeter mango. Bang on. Bit nasty though soapy and a tad artificial. Ungstrup (15481), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Feb 13, 2007 Draft at the brewpub in London, July 2006. An unclear light yellow beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of wheat and fruit. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of mango, as well as some notes of wheat. The sweetness and a very high level of carbonation reminds me of a sodapop. Fin (3495), Merton, Oxfordshire, England
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Oct 27, 2006 Had this on draught at the Zerodegrees brewpub, Bristol, 26-10-06. Cloudy orange in colour, some carbonation, mmhh.. not quite sure what to make of this it was quite crisp and certainly refreshing and the mangoes were there but I found them to be more of an aftertaste. The aroma was a little yeasty but owing to fact that that there was quite a bit of action appearing to go on behind the bar where I was sat with vessels being opened, the bar as you might suspect smelt very much like a brewery so it was difficult to get an accurate take on the aroma. When I came out of this bar I remembered what this reminded me of and it was one of those rubicon canned exotic soft drinks I’ve had the Mango flavour and that beer whilst nowhere near as sweet defintaley had more than a nod in the direction of one of those drinks. Not really my thing. johninmelb (695), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 26, 2006 Take home 5l cask from bristol brewpub. Bready and fruity nose. Murky clouded orange in colour. Taste is very refreshing - initially like a soft drink but then the more complex bitterness underpins it. A nice drop, and I gotta say that Duff’s comparison to a mango Weiss bar is spot on (for those who’ve tried mango Wiess bars!)
