Can. Clear golden with small white head. Flavour is malt, hops, little sweet, spices, little bitter, dry and a little citrus.

4 Dirty caramelly aroma, but mostly bland even when less chilled.
2 Caramelly, brief head.
4 Messy mix of caramel, a little toast, and some strange esters.
3 Smooth palate, decent carbonation. Actually has a reasonably grainy and bready finish, and even a tingling hint that there were hops in the production. Slightly spiky, though, from concentrate rather than full buds.
7 Well, it slips down easily enough. It’s not so much an altbier as being a just a polotmave lager. The watering down may reduce any nastiness, but it reduces any beeriness too.
