JorisPPattyn (7875) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - SEP 24, 2007
Dirty-pale amber; yellowish medium head, not stable. Grain, but old (not moulded, not oxydized, but somehow, old), and slightly smoked as well. Soft sweet taste, some sweetish malts. Smoked notes from the nose are gone. White candi sugar (of course, brewers, I cannot detect that...) Slick, creamy, medium bodied. The ubiquitous Proef beer. One cannot say anything bad about it, and on would like to say something good - just - what?

Tasted it on draft as well as on bottle. A nice blond beer with soft hops. A good tast and a special after tast makes this beer tast very nice

Bottled Clear, yellow body. Off-white, frothy, rocky head. Aroma of caramel, hops, orange. Moderately bitter, lightly sweet flavour. Not too bad, even quite nice beer. Although not an exceptional one. Good balance.

Golden color, clear. The aroma isn’t too evident. Some malt, a hint of pepper, some tropical fruit. Malty, almost creamy peppery flavor. Malty sweetness with pineapple. Well made beer!
