2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Clear golden colour, slight white head. Aroma of butter, malts and hay. Light bitter flavour, sweet malts. Light bitter, sweet malty finish.
Nothing special, a pale lager. The shopkeeper told me this is a Belarusian brand, big disappointment to see it is produced in Bavaria instead.

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottled @ ZZT VII, thx to Martinus. Clear yellow color, short head. Aroma has a bit flowery hops, butter. The 1 year old homebrew pilsner with homegrown hops I’m drinking right now is seriously way better than this commercial brew. As long as it gave a country tick, but even that didnt happen. Thanks a lot Martinus! :P

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
(bottle, thanks marce!) pours a clear yellow colour with a frothy white head. surprising aroma of herbal hops and straw, slightly perfumed and spicy, with some light cardboard and earwax. flavour is mostly the same, very herbal-hoppy, with a strawy malt base and no oxidation, quite drinkable. light to medium-bodied with soft carbonation and a slightly bitter, dry finish.

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
April 2009 on BA: This brown 0.5litre bottle came to me from ’Beers of Europe’, via MONOLITH GmbH (a German firm). The front label has a viking boat with a red sail as its center piece. The beer is 4.9%. Although the only other reviewer had a different bottle (label wise and strength wise), I am sure this is the same beer.
Very, very pale yellow, a golden weak urine colour to be honest. The white head did try and stay on each of the three pours (into a Veltins Pilsner glass).
There was a hint of cereals in the aroma, but not much else, gets my standard 3 for a non-smelling pils/lager.
Tasted better than it looked, a run of the mill pilsner with no outstanding or interesting features. Clean, refreshing and OK.
No real body depth, but what true pilsners have? Would hold its own against better known German pilsners (Becks, Dab, etc).
I won’t be booking any flights or re-ordering any more of these, but it isn’t an unpleasant beer by any means.
