bottle. Legendarnoye russkoye pivo iz Germanii? Pochemu? Well, it pours a clear golden colour with a decent white head. Hoppy nose. Malty background with lots of rather pleasant bitter hops with a resiny character. Legendary Russian beer from Germany? Why? Perhaps because it’s rather nice.

It’s golden with a white head and the aroma has notes of malt and flower. The flavor is moderately sweet with notes of malt, light acetone, apple, light straw and the finish is dry.

0,5 l bottle, bought in an Arbat, shop of russian food specialities. Poured pale yellow with a small white head. Meaningless aroma of sourish yeast, soma pale malt and grassy hop. Weak body with grassy, unpleasant metallic hop, some oxidized malt and izoacid taste. Average one...

19/02 0.5 l bottle Doggythedog brought from Graz, thanks for sharing! Poured golden body with medium sized head that went down pretty fast. Some corn, rice, grains and hay in its aroma. Flavor was malty, too, with a touch of metal. Hops are felt in strange herbal form here. Not too thin bodied. Finish was longer, slightly bready and sweetish. Interesting to some degree, but not really something of a beer.
