3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Good quality Eastern European lager.
Very easy to drink - in fact it took me longer to check on the internet where it came from than it did to drink.
Purchased from a local food store in Peterborough.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pretty much a standard pilsener, but with an unprenouncable name and not readable letters. This one was quite difficult to track down to ratebeer.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle 500ml at home, poured into a glass tankard, ABV 4.9%
Took me quite some time to find it on the database, a bit disappointing that it’s not a real russian beer after all this effort.
Pale yellow colour on the body, tall white head, soapy, with very good retention. Medium lacing on the glass.
Aroma of grass and straw mainly, a bit faint but not offensive.
Taste is sweet, malty, with metal notes on the finish, some grass again bit also some noble hops. Mildly bitterness.
Medium thin body, good carbonation.
Overall not bad at all, refreshing and quite clean, I could drink more if offered.

bottle. Legendarnoye russkoye pivo iz Germanii? Pochemu? Well, it pours a clear golden colour with a decent white head. Hoppy nose. Malty background with lots of rather pleasant bitter hops with a resiny character. Legendary Russian beer from Germany? Why? Perhaps because it’s rather nice.

(bottle, thanks marce!) pours a clear yellow colour with a frothy white head. surprising aroma of herbal hops and straw, slightly perfumed and spicy, with some light cardboard and earwax. flavour is mostly the same, very herbal-hoppy, with a strawy malt base and no oxidation, quite drinkable. light to medium-bodied with soft carbonation and a slightly bitter, dry finish.
