3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
6 oz pour from chilled bottle into shaker pint. Quite clear, light brown, moderate carbonation, and a bit of a thin head. Taste is a little nutty. Light body. Fairly weak overall, but nicely drinkable.

1.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
no real aroma, maybe a faint barley. Taste is mostly just water. Some very, very faint toffee. the feeling on the palate is soda like.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: JAN 17, 2016 Pours a clear brown-amber with a quickly dissiapting, off-white head. Light nit’s of fruit with some spoiling milk aroma. Moderately scrubbing on the tongue. Flavors approxinate the nose; though that rancid milk comes out even more noticably. One nearly has to try to make a commercially available beer this bad.
Addendum: I first reviewed this on 3/30/15. Had it again in NOLA on 1/16/16. Much better. I was impressed with how rich the flavor was of this bock. I’m adjusting my rating accordingly.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
No aroma detected but a faint sense of old barley. Average bock/amber color with a foamy head. Taste was somewhat bland with a slight toasted hint. Light palate with strong carbonation. Is it better than a macro pale lager? Is that saying much? No.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours pale to medium amber with a short ivory head diminishing rapidly to a thin skim, spotty lacing. (3/5) Nose is grainy caramel malt, toasty and slightly nutty. (5/10) Taste is moderate sweet, almost non-existent bitter. (4/10) Light body, moderate to low carbonation, slightly sticky finish. (3/5)
Thin and light bodied despite the darker colour, certainly nothing impressive in the flavours. Mostly malty and boring, with a little toasted flavour that drops dead pretty quickly. Maybe marginally better than most other AB-InBev offerings. (Didn’t know it was AB-InBev when I ordered it, but there wasn’t much doubt by the time I was finished.) (8/20)

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Not horrible and not great either a run of the mill amber a little too carbonated for me and a little on the watery side for flavor about like a more flavorful lite beer.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
355ml twist off bottle. Didn’t realize this was inbev at first. First beer in Texas(not first purchased but ffirst consumed) and its inbev, perfect. Amber pour. Smells like a polite malt liquor. Flavor is sugary water though not over the top sweet. Men.

1.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
Pretty much entirely terrible. A little worse than the Honduran lagers I’ve been drinking for the past week. Pours amber with OK head and lacing. Rusty, and paint thinner aromas. Some caramel. Tap at Houston airport.

Like a shitty Yuengling. Bud’s attempt to compete with Shiner in Texas. It’s cheap.
