Bottle: taste is a little bit of yeast. This is not really a great beer because the taste is not really there. A good drunk beer.

Made to compete with Shiner Bock. They copied the look and the taste. It’s not bad for cheap beer, but it lacks any kind of depth to its taste or body. Watery brown stuff.

It is a beer. Looks like flat cola and tastes like watered julmust. I could drink a lot of it. Just not noteworthy. -- rated via 'Find A Beer' for Blackberry 10

UPDATED: APR 1, 2014 Tap: Deep brown with mahogany hints... Almost red-ish. Barely any head, beige tinted and more of a skin than anything. Aroma is very subdued. Slightly metallic, grainy, with a very faint hint of toasty, caramel malt. Uninspired. Taste is a bit better, with some light buttery toffee malt, faint caramel, toasty bread, and light cocoa powder sweetness. Notable crisp yeast, somewhat astringent and sharp metallic bitterness that hinders but doesn’t kill things. Clean finish with some mild residual sweetness and a dry breadiness. Not great but fairly mediocre.
