AB fooled me with this one. Saw the signs for this one on my trip in houston. Thought it sounds like a microbrew, bought it and my first impresssion of the taste was: Why does it taste so watery? Checked the label and found the reason --> Anheuser-Busch. These guys really succeed in waerting down every style. Even the ones you thought are impossible!

Complimentary beer at the embassy suites north dfw. Poured into a plastic glass, Amber hue, minimal head. Lost of toasted malt, mild grass. Medium mouth. Okay.

No significant aroma, no hops or malt. Quite estery for a lager. The primary flavor is a light caramel, not appropriate for a Vienna. A bad copy of a Shiner bock, which is not a great beer to begin with.

Had some of these at the house, then a bunch at a Rangers game. Enjoyed them more than most ambers. Fairly clean. Not terribly malty.

Pours a bronze/amber color. About two fingers tan colored head. Slight retention, very slight lacing. It is amber, but clear.

Aroma is quite malrty. I smell medium roasted malts ,caramel, perhaps floral hops.

Tastes good. Nothing wrong with the taste, itís just...there. Sweet, not so malty though. Artificially sweetened? Weird. Metallic twang at the end. Something is not right.

Mouthfeel is light and refreshing. Thatís about all I have to say about that.

Overall, itís a beer thatís more amber than Bock. Not terrible. Itís good enough to drink again, but itís not something Iíll be looking to buy. Iím not going to say to avoid it, but if you havenít tried it, really, youíre not missing anything.

Dark amber with a thin white head. Lively carbonation. Thin body with a smooth mouth feel. Light caramel taste with hardly any noticeable hop bitterness although itís there. Clean refreshing finish. Not bad for a Texas macro bock.

Pours deep copper with small white head. Aromas are sweet malts, grains, maybe some toffee. Lively carbonation, light body. Medium hoppy finish. Nothing exceptional here, but quite drinkable.

This is an ABInBev brewery. Pours a deep clear amber with just a thin white foam. Malty aroma with hints of bread and grain. Body has a good malt flavor initially followed by some grassy hop. Gets more pronounced as it goes. May want to stick to just a first sip.

Soild but unspectacular, not a bad beer although i consider it a bock lite since it lacks the strength and robust flavor of a true bock. Its o.k. when you consider the price.

Pours dark copper with a bit of head. Clear. Yeasty aroma. Corn? Thin bodied. Pretty light. Low on bitter. Really not awful, just kind of bland. Could use hops.

Pours a clear amber color with a thick frothy head, very light carbonation. Has a light caramel scent, you can also smell the hops. The taste is smooth, you can taste the hops and a light caramel flavor as well.
