Delirium (430), Santa Cruz, California, USA Dec 24, 2006 Bottle. Pours dark amber/brown with a small off-white head. Tastes and smells like a typical American dark lager, with a hint of the "Texas bock" style of Shiner Bock. Not bad, but not as good as Shiner Bock (which it iself not exactly at the pinnacle of beers).
yngwie (3529), Kristiansand, Norway Sep 2, 2008 Bottle. A dark golden beer, clear, with a small off-white head. Malty aroma with caramel, bread and some fruits playing a minor part. Quite sweet and malty flavor, with a pleasant fruity touch. Medium , quite effervescent mouthfeel. Short fruity finish with some bitterness. Quite pleasant and straight forward without being exciting. (080822) yespr (6400), Copenhagen O, Denmark Aug 24, 2008 12 fl oz bottle. Pours clear and golden deep orange with a lacing white head. Spiced and dry breadish malty aroma. Breadish dry flavour with a diminished spice note and mild acidic note coming through. Light bitterness into the finish. Bhops (200), Dallas, Texas, USA Aug 18, 2008 not much to say about this one. ordered it at the local dive when nothing else was available. mild flavor of burnt malts with metallic finish. Not much here. gearbike (351), West Bloomfield, Michigan, USA Aug 14, 2008 On draft at Houston Airport. Have to admit I was fooled. I thought it was an average local craft brew. Nothing great but not bad for a bush. Light and refreshing with a hint of hops. BlackDonald (1040), North Carolina, USA Aug 9, 2008 Tap @ Bubba’s in the Houston airport. This was the only place in the airport that looked decent enough to eat and have a drink. Had not had this before and it was either this or Shiner Bock, so I chose this. Bready biscuity maltiness, with a hint of earthiness and absolutely not finish whatsoever, it just drop sright off the palate.
