draft at Ziegler-Bräu in Waldsassen.
clear gold, lightly hazed, soap foam white head. minerals, a lot of calcium, some sulfur, some (clean) dishsoap foam in the nose. airy fluffy and very light-bodied, surely going for the classic sweet, simple, lightly-hopped Helles version of pilsner, more pedestrian and basic. some tart buttermilk and starches show up as it breathes, as do some cooked corn kernels and cereals. soft, low carbonation with shortly-lingering hop acids in the finish.

Golden color, small white head. Grassy, green wood aroma. Sweet malty, butterscotch, low bitterness - not much a pils.

pivnizub (9150) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - FEB 17, 2007
Bottle: Sweet-malty, a bit papery nose with "oaky" hops in the background; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied and soft; mild, light bitter-sweet finish with traces of the typical "Bohemian" qualities. A pleasant and decent Pils.....

MoritzF (8639) - Bochum, GERMANY - NOV 9, 2006
(bottle, from pivnizub) Clear, pale golden colour with a medium-sized, slowly lacing foamy white head. Sweet and grainy aroma with hay and shy herbal hoppy notes, also with a minimal fruity touch. Initially quite sweet malty, slightly grainy taste with a herbal background that gets stronger towards the dry and moderately bitter finish. A bit slim but drinkable, easy-going Pils.
