0.33 l bottle from Zell am Ziller... Dark clody color like cold coffee, short to medium head... Nice malt aroma of coffee, caramel and some sourness of maybe citrus or grapefruit... Interesting black beer variante with some refreshing sourness...

Simples Schwarzes mit ein wenig an Roestmalzen, etwas Kaffee und ein bisschen an Nuessen. Wirkt etwas duenn und schwer zu trinken. Vielleicht eher was fuer affine Typen.

Bottle from local Spar in Austria. The beer pours out in a deep black colour with steady low head and medium body. Aroma of malt and bread. Taste of malt, leaves, woods, sweetness, barley and dark bread. Drinkable.

maekchu (2247) - Hirakata, JAPAN - JUL 9, 2014
Bottle from Sugaya. Large yeasty nose, with some decent choco roast. Dark translucent brown. Gentle roast malt initial, a bit of smoky chocolate, light tang fruit. Thin-medium body, spritzy. Very smooth, with little pushes of flavor. Doesn’t knock you over with anything special. Okay

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein sehr dunkelrötliches Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, erdig. Geschmack röstmalzig, sehr leicht schokoladig, Karamell.

Bottle. Nose of chocolate and cardboard, cocoa, lightly fruits. Light body, rather sweet and fruity. Not much happening.
