Geweldig lekker witbier. In Oostenrijk in het plaatsje Fügen gedronken. En een mooi glas mee naar huis genomen.

Floral nose, cloudy, average head for a weissbier (big!). Medium-bitter at the end, full-bodied bier. Filling. Great with a view of the alps.

UPDATED: SEP 13, 2007 Bottled 0,33L. Compact and frothy head, discreet resistance. Decidedly hazy orange/greenish color and with good and fine fizz. Much delicate scent with aromas of wheat, cereals, wine cellar, lemon and banana. Prickly taste; a lot aged with pleasant notes of wine cellar, stum, withered grape and lemon. Acidulous and balanced on the end.

This Weissbier is astoundingly round and tastey. This beer is amongst the best that I have tried in Austria. Great when skiing in the mountains. Good good beer.

Bottle, gift from my mate Matt. Cloudy orange gold with a lively white head. Smells more like a blonde. Obvious citrus but a nice amount, definite banana. Finish is a little acidic and chemical laden but overall it’s quite nice.

Bottle. Deep cloudy orange color with huge, fine, white head. Big cakey wheat aroma. rich and sweet with lots of banana and cloves. Sweet and cakey flavor, full-on. Thick and spicy with lots of banana and cloves, and just a bit of a sour edge. Good enough, though I couldn’t drink much--too thick and sweet.

28/08 0.33 l bottle from Bierkultur nine pack, acquired in an Interspar, Villach. It poured hazy orange body with big head. Fine sweetish cloves and banana, cloying wheat aroma. Sourish flavor, lower quality than aroma would suggest, bubblegum, banana, chalk yeasty, all the typical wheat things. Medium bodied with slightly acidic and chalky finish. An average hefe with some of its notes being really fine, but also quite watery.

Mild dry banana, herbal hops. Rich cereals, creamy banana, cake, gummy bear, peppery finish. Fairly smooth and creamy malty hefe.

Bottled: Aroma with notes of spices and citrus. Huge creamy white head. Hazy yellow to light orange color. Light sweet with some clove notes. Wheat flavor and sourly citrus notes. Overall a common, thirst quentching beer.
